At the end of sweater knitting season each year, I gather up all of the leftover yarn from the year’s projects and spend the summer knitting accessories for my family, easy projects I can make on our travels. My husband usually requests a hat and my son always gets a pair of socks. This year my husband asked for a simple beanie that was loose around the brim to avoid the dreaded hat head. This hat is the result of his request and it is a family favorite (yes, I steal it all the time). :smile:
