Jolie Poncho
Jolie Poncho (English, Norwegian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Danish) - Knitting pattern by Milotte.
Jolie Poncho is worked top down. First, a high ribbed collar is worked and folded double. The work is then continued in the round in stockinette stitch, with a textured pattern centered at the front and back. Increases are worked evenly on every other round on each side of the chart - this shapes the poncho and creates a natural, elegant drape over the shoulders. The piece is finished with a ribbing hem in garter stitch. Alternatively, you may add fringe for a bolder look.
