Jonty is a traditional jointed bear with a massive personality and an incredibly huggable body. He comes in two sizes; the large size is knit in Aran weight yarn on a 4mm needle and the small is knit in DK weight yarn on a 3mm needle.

This 14 page pattern is very detailed with clear photographs to help you through some of the trickier sections. Each piece has a lot of shaping to give Jonty his traditional, shape but there is minimal seaming. His arms are shaped with short row shaping, all the better for cuddling, and his head is formed from 2 sections in order to give him his cute expression.

There are detailed assembly instructions with photographs and diagrams to help you build your new best friend.

The large bear was knit with a 400g ball of Hayfield Bonus Aran with wool and the small size was knit with a single 100g ball of Stylecraft Special DK.

Both bears also require:

  • 5 safety joints
  • A pair of safety eyes
  • Toy stuffing
  • Tapestry needle
