“ And feeling good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues
You know feeling good was good enough for me “ - Janis Joplin

La, la, la break out the patchouli and let your inner hippie out. Joplin is a simple scarf with a 3 row repeat and long fringe meant to blow in the summer breeze. Janis would have rocked this scarf with a floppy hat and bellbottoms, but it looks bad ass with just about any outfit.

Any yarn in the entire universe would work with this pattern really, although I would adjust needle size accordingly so you get big holes and a nice drape. I used a single skein of Noro Silk Garden Sock which is a little skimpy in the yardage department and after blocking, had a 60” scarf sans fringe. Kureyon Sock has more than 100yds on silk garden sock and would give you a longer scarf.

Exact gauge for this is not necessary or crucial. I only included it cause Rav made me :p. Swatching is for suckers on this one.
