The Jordan Hat is a classic men’s ribbed beanie defined by its simplicity in style and knitting ease. Four different lengths will give the perfect fit. This quick pattern is also great for charity knitting, such as donations to the armed forces or shelters.

I made one of these hats for a friend’s son who is deployed in Afghanistan, after learning that winters there are just as cold as in New England. Since this pattern up until then was unnamed, I decided to name it after him.
