This is a 3-tier wedding cake, approximately 12” x 17” finished. Pattern can be altered to be any type of cake by altering the yarn colors and/or flowers etc.

Each cake is created to the average size of a real cake.

If you choose to use a worsted weight (size 4) yarn the gauge will be different. Can easily be done with less bulky yarn just adjust to the gauge, more rows and stiches will be needed.

Colors that were used in this pattern were used to replicate my niece’s wedding cake. Adjust to a white yarn for cake and different color flowers to create your own cake.

Yarn 5 skeins. Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread 1 ball per color. Number of balls based on number of flowers.
