A delicate cable ‘journeys’ across the instep of this sock, while a striking diamond design adds interest to the back of the leg. These toe up socks are best knit in a solid or tonal color so the cables can be displayed to their best. It’s a great knit to take on vacation, wherever your journey may take you!

Journey is available in three sizes:
S (M, L) to fit foot circumference 6.5-7.5” (7.5”-8.5”, 8.5”-9.5”) Length is fully customizable. The sock is designed to fit with 0-0.5”” of negative ease.

You will need fingering weight yarn, approximately 350yds, and US size 1.5 (2.50mm) needles or size required to obtain gauge. Note: Yarn requirements may vary if you desire a longer leg length.

You can use any method you wish for working in the round (DPN, two circulars or magic loop).
The pattern lends itself best to dividing the stitches into two groups (Instep and Sole).
These socks are made from the toe up.

Erratum
Many thanks to SmusChemist and Galloerne who discovered my math error in the foot section. Two repeats of the foot chart is a total of 12 rounds (not 24 as written).
