Something for men: Journey sweater - simple raglan sweater with an easy rib pattern in the upper part of sweater body and sleeves, with a featured elbow patch. I have designed it specially for my husband. Sweater is shown in Kilcarra Donegal Aran Tweed - high quality Irish wool yarn with a unique multicoloured fleck in colourway 4898 Blue Navy.

Journey is a cosy but simply sweater worked seamlessly from top down with a positive easy i ca 2,5-3 cm.
The yoke rib is first worked in round, the short rows worked back and forth until neck shaping is complete. From that point the yoke is worked in the round again to the underarms, where sleeve stitches are placed on hold on the waste yarn or stitch holders to work the body first top down to the bottom.

From underarm to underarm: 58.5-59cm/23 - 23.5 Sleeve length from underarm: 48.5-49cm /19.2 - 19.5 Body length from underarm: 41.5-42cm /16.6 -16.9.used

The model man on photos wearing this sweater is ca 185cm /72.83 inches and used to wear size L/Xl.

I’m an English and Continental (classic Continental method) knitter; this very sweater I knitted using English method.
