All hats and neckwarmers are knit with circular needles however headbands may be made with straight or circular needles. Circular needles give a seamless and professional looking result. Instructions are given for circular needles however all you need to do is follow the chart with knitting the odd numbered rows and purl the even numbered rows.

This knitting pattern design is based on the stranded colorwork / Fair Isle / Icelandic / Norwegian techniques.

Yarn required: med, worsted or Aran, with label reading 18 stitches by 24 rows = 4” or 10cm square using #7 or 4.5mm needles, circular knitting needles, yarn needle, and stitch marker
