PATTERN DETAILS

Joyful is a shawl full of joy. Joy for all the good things in life and for the small moments of knitting. If you like it and will spread even more joy, please share a picture on your project with #joyfulshawl.

Size: One size. 200 cm wingspan along top edge and 57 cm from top edge to bottom tip.

Yarn: Three skeins á 100 g in three different colors of Cheeky Merino Joy from Rosy Green Wool (100 g = 320 m). Color A (mustard yellow): ”Honey Pie”, 93 g used for sample. Color B (white): ”Edelweiss”, 80 g used for sample (including tassles). Color C (grey):”Cornish Slate”, 80 g used for sample.

You can also use any other sports weight yarn with at least 320 m per 100 g.

Gauge (after blocking): 22 stitches and 36 rows is 10 cm in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project but a different gauge will affect meterage and finished size.

Needles: 100 cm circular needle 3.5 mm or the size you need to get matching gauge.
