The idea for this wreath came about when I was knitting a fur trim to sew onto a poncho for my daughter to wear for Christmas Jumper Day.

I made it by pulling back a jumper and holding 4 strands together, so it knits up really quickly and the crimp of pre-knitted yarn adds a fun texture.

I’m starting with the knitted fur base and then I’ll gradually add different motifs every month, for a reveal in December.
