MATERIALS

Kidsilk Yarn
Colour A: 2 x 50g skeins Cowgirlblues Kidsilk True Colours
Colour B: 1 x 50g ball Cowgirlblues Merino Lace Single Hot Pink
Colour C: 1 x 50g ball Cowgirlblues Merino Lace Single Sage

3.75mm 100cm circular needles
A row counter may prove useful but the pattern is forgiving if stitch count errors creep in

GAUGE
To check your gauge knit a 10x10cm sample in garter stitch
Kidsilk: 18 stitches and 36 rows

For this project the gauge is not important unless you want to achieve the same measurements.
Because garter stitch creates quite a dense, firm fabric, we used a bigger needle than usual to create a looser fabric and give a soft drape.
The pattern has been designed to make the best use of the quantities of wool recommended, but the size of the shawl can easily be reduced or increased by skipping sections or adding in extra rows.
