Ju San is the thirteenth day of the 2017 Advent calendar: twenty-four patterns, one a day, to learn to count in Chinese.

It is written 十三: the cross of ten, then three horizontal strokes, those of three.

On this hat too, the ribs cross: in the 2/2 rib, two cables meet, cross and part, twice, before the ribs resume and draw together into a star up to the top. It is knitted in the round, from the bottom up, in one ball of De Rerum Natura “Gilliatt”.
