Your purchase includes copyrighted crochet pattern in PDF format to fit the following sizes:

XSM - Newborn-6m (up to 16” head circumference)
SM - 6-12m (up to 18” head circumference)
MD - 12-18m (up to 20” head circumference)
LG – 18-24m (up to 22” head circumference)
XLG - 24m-6x or Adult (up to 24” head circumference)

You will need a U.S. K (10.5) hook, worsted weight yarn and 3mm plastic pony beads. I like to use cotton such as Sugar’N Cream or Peaches & Creme, but any worsted weight yarn will work beautifully.

You can work the hat in the colors listed or choose your own. Real watermelons grow in all colors so let your imagination go wild! Work a straight band instead of the ruffle and you have a beanie style hat great for girls or boys!
