JULEHUS means Christmas House in Norwegian/Danish.

Welcome to a cozy & fun project!

I’ve tested and erred, and now I’ve landed on this version of a small knitted house. It may be used as a hanging ornament, or placed alone or in a christmas decoration.

For stability I’ve used an empty toilet roll inside, cut into shape for the roof.

I’ve listed a specific yarn, that i myself use, but any yarn in Fingering Weight will match my gauge. I love how hand dyed yarn adds life to the project, but that’s up to you to choose.

I’m only using 4 of the 5 double pointed needles in a set, as you really dont need them all for a project this size.

I’m also not quite sure of the total yardage per house, as i have only used leftovers, but it’s not much…
