These pretty little hearts are quick and fun to crochet, and look lovely hanging in the window, on the Christmas tree – or as decorations on gifts.

Any size cotton thread or yarn will do. Size 5 mercerised cotton thread is used in the pattern. Size 20 gives dainty little hearts that can be used for Christmas cards, and DK yarn hearts are nice and big for window decorations.

To open up the lace and make sure they don’t flop, starch them with e.g. PVA glue mixed with water. This is an optional step.
