The pattern has a nice rhythm so you can knit with ease, then stop for an interesting technique, then back to more easy, relaxing knitting. It is worked in the round from the top down with decorative raglan increases. The back neckline is shaped with short rows. The edges feature the Italian cast on and bind off. Set-in pockets add interest to the front of the cardigan. The button band is steeked, then finished off with ribbing. It has couture details like the button band finishing and embroidery on the set-in pockets. You can get creative with the embroidery or keep it simple, or omit it completely.
