This is a warm, slightly oversized and thick sweater.
The pattern is written in great detail, including tips and explanations on how to read and understand a knitting pattern.

Absolutely beginner-friendly.

Sizes
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL

Your size is always the number in this sequence. Follow the number for your size throughout the entire pattern.
For example: If you are making size M, you will always follow the 3rd number throughout the pattern.

Finished measurements (cm):
Bust circumference approx.:
84 (96) 102 (114) 120 (132) 138 cm
Total length approx.:
53 (57) 59 (61) 63 (65) 67 cm
Sleeve length approx.:
48 cm in all sizes.

Tip: Measure a sweater you already own while it is lying flat to help you choose the size you would like to make.

Yarn requirements:
The sweater is knitted holding 1 strand of Pus together with 1 strand of Faerytale.
Pus:
350 (400) 450 (500) 550 (600) 650 g
Faerytale:
150 (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) 300 g

Pus has approximately 100 meters per 50 g.
Faerytale has approximately 175 meters per 50 g.
Both yarns come in 50 g balls.

Example: For size M you will need 9 balls of Pus and 4 balls of Faerytale.
Please remember that you may need more or less yarn if you want to make the sweater longer or shorter. The amount of yarn given is for a sweater with a long folded neck.

Needle sizes:
You will need circular needle size 8 mm in 40 cm and 80 cm lengths.
Double pointed needles size 8 mm
And:
Circular needle size 9 mm in 40 cm and 80 cm lengths

If you prefer to knit using the magic loop method, you only need an 80 cm circular needle in both sizes.

Gauge:
12 stitches x 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Gauge is important to make sure your sweater gets the measurements stated in the pattern.

About the pattern:
I wanted to create a very beginner-friendly sweater.
A sweater that is quick to knit, with a pattern that is easy to understand.
This sweater is knitted from the top down, making it easier to try it on as you go. This way you can adjust the length of both the sleeves and the body to your preferred fit.
The entire sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch.
It has long ribbing at the neckline (choose your preferred length) and at the bottom of the body and sleeves.
The sweater is shaped by increasing stitches from the neckline downwards (raglan increases). These create the “seams” running down each side of the shoulders.
I have taken the liberty of referring to YouTube in a few places throughout the pattern.
This is because some techniques are much easier to understand when you can see how they are done, rather than only having them explained with words.

The entire sweater is knitted holding two strands together throughout: one strand of Pus and one strand of Faerytale.
