Biscotte Yarns is offering a knitting kit for this design, including the pattern (in French or English) and one skein of Louise Robert Collection “Romeo”. Click here to purchase this kit.
JULIET’S DREAM was designed to be paired with Romeo, a sport weight yarn that is a dreamy blend of cashmere and untreated merino wool. The lace motif blends delicate openwork with timeless elegance, inspired by the classic romance of Romeo and Juliet.
The hat construction is worked in the round from the brim up starting with Italian tubular cast on, followed by half twisted 1x1 ribbing. The body is a repeat of 21 st lace pattern which continues through the crown decrease. To secure the project, the final stitches are simply cinch closed.
Techniques Used
cast on: tubular
bind off: cinched
decreases: k2tog, ssk, sssk, twisted k2tog, twisted ssk, s2kp
