Pattern notes:
This sweet cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back and shoulders are cast on first, and shaped with raglan increases, the fronts are then cast on and worked together with the yoke. A lace panel is worked down the front of the sweater, which is in reverse stockinette stitch. The sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round. Short rows are used to shape the bottom of the sweater. The hems and neckline are finished with garter stitch. It’s a good idea to read the pattern thoroughly before you begin

Yarn:

Approx 230 (280, 340, 420) 500, 580, 680 yards of DK weight yarn.

Needles:

US 6 / 4mm circular needle for yoke, body & sleeves.

US 4 / 3.5mm circular needle (80cm+) for cuffs, hem & edging.

Notions:

8 stitch marker for raglan increases, plus 4 stitchmarkers in a different colour for lace pattern, holders / waste yarn, tapestry needle, 3 (3, 3, 3) 5, 5, 5 small buttons.

Sizing:

Instructions are given for size 6 months with sizes (1, 2, 4) 6, 8, 10 years in parentheses.

To fit chest size: 17 (19, 21, 23) 24, 26.5, 28 inches / 43 (48, 53.5, 58.5) 61, 67, 71 cm with approx. 2 inches / 5 cm of positive ease.

Gauge:

22 st and 30 rows = 4 inch square (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on larger needles.
