In 2025, Bad Sheep Yarn released monthly birthstone-colored yarns. In July, they released ‘Ruby’, a stunning red tonal yarn which inspired me to create a traditional red beret - but with a twist. I added a Latvian braid to the brim, creating a lovely motif as well as providing a secure fit for the beret. The yarn needed is 1 skein of bulky yarn.
