BESCHREIBUNG

Der JUNA V Neck ist ein klassischer Pullunder/Pullover mit V-Ausschnitt im Halbpatent. Der Pullover kann in unterschiedlichen Varianten mit und ohne Ärmel gestrickt werden. Es wird von oben nach unten in einem Stück gestrickt. Es ist kein Zusammennähen der Teile nötig.

Begonnen wird mit der rückwärtigen schmalen Blende. Anschließend werden die Maschen für das Rückenteil angeschlagen und zunächst die hintere Hals- und Schulterpartie mittels verkürzter Reihen geformt. Anschließend wird bis zu den Armausschnitten gestrickt.

Die beiden Vorderteile werden jeweils separat an das Rückenteil angestrickt und die Maschen aus der rückwärtigen Blende in die Vorderteile integriert, so dass die Blenden für den vorderen Ausschnitt direkt mitgestrickt werden. Die verkürzten Reihen erfolgen gegengleich zum Rückenteil mit zusätzlichen Zunahmen für den V-Ausschnitt. Unter den Armen werden Rückenteil und Vorderteil verbunden und gemeinsam in Runden zu Ende gestrickt.

Für die optionalen Ärmel werden Maschen aus dem Armausschnitt aufgenommen und diese ebenfalls in Runden gearbeitet.

Alle Saumbündchen werden mit dem I-Cord abgekettet.

Der Pullover kann 2 oder 3fädig im glatten oder krausen Halbpatent gestrickt werden. Weiterhin kann man zwischen einfachem oder geteiltem Saumbündchen und schmalem oder weiten Ballonärmeln wählen. 2 mögliche Kombination der Varianten werden in den Modellskizzen 1 und 2 gezeigt. Alle Varianten sind aber kombinierbar, so dass du dir dein eigenes individuelles Modell designen kannst.

Das Model auf dem Foto ist 164 cm groß und trägt Größe S (Pullunder in Violett) und Größe M/L (Pullover lang, Ballonärmel, geteilter Saum in Gelb) bei einem Brustumfang von 85 cm.

OVERVIEW
The JUNA V Neck is a classic V-neck sweater/vest in half-brioche stitch. This sweater can be knitted in several variations, with or without sleeves. It is worked from the top down, in one piece, and no sewing is necessary.
You will start with the narrow back panel, then cast on stitches for the back piece, and begin shaping the back of the neck and the shoulders with short rows. You will then work down to the depth of the armholes.
You will work each of the front pieces separately from stitches picked up on the back piece, and the stitches from the back band are integrated into the front pieces, so that the band for the front neckline is incorporated directly. The short rows are worked in opposite direction to the back piece, with additional increases for the V-neck. The back and front pieces are then joined under the arms and the body is worked as one piece in the round.
The sleeves are optional and are worked in the round, from stitches picked up around the armhole. All edges are finished with an I-cord bind-off.

For this sweater you have the choice to knit with 2 or 3 threads held together, with the ‘smooth’ (right side of the half-brioche) or the ‘textured’ (wrong side of the half-brioche) side showing. You can also choose between a single or split hem and narrow or wide/balloon sleeves. Two possible combinations of these variations are shown in pattern sketches 1 and 2. However, all variations are interchangeable, allowing you to create your own unique design.

The model in the photo is 164 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 85 cm, and is wearing a size S in the vest version (in purple) and a size M/L in the sweater with balloon sleeves and split hem (in yellow).

Possible Variations
1) ‘Smooth’ half-brioche stitch (short rows with double stitches /German Short Rows) or ‘textured’ half-brioche stitch (short rows with wrap stitches)
2) Narrow or wide sleeves
3) Split hem or continuous hem, both with an I-cord edge
4) Vest (you will work different edge stitches at the armhole, please consider this when making your choice!)

STITCH PATTERN
Smooth or textured half-brioche stitch with yarn overs.
‘Smooth’ and ‘textured’ refer to the appearance of the stitch on the right side of the garment. The ‘smooth’ half-brioche stitch shows a flatter, knit-stitch-dominant side (as seen in the purple vest), while the ‘textured’ half-brioche stitch has a more pronounced, purl-stitch-dominant side (as seen in the yellow sweater).

KNITTING GAUGE
In half-brioche stitch, holding 3 threads together (with yarn suggestion 1), 2 threads together (with yarn suggestion 2):
on 6 mm needles, or needle size to match the gauge: 13 stitches x 26 rows = 13 brioche rows = 10 x 10 cm
Note that one brioche row (visible as one knit stitch on the RS) corresponds to two rows or rounds.
