Materials needed:

• Worsted weight yarn (green and black)
• 20 gauge (0.8mm) wire
• Superglue
• 3.5mm crochet hook
• Embroidery needle
• Wire cutters
• Needlenose pliers
• Small safety eyes (optional)

WARNING: DO NOT USE SUPERGLUE ON COTTON YARN. IT WILL IGNITE THE YARN. If you use cotton yarn for this pattern, tie the yarn onto the wire rather than gluing it. Create a hook at the end of the wire “legs” and hook it into a knot in the yarn, then tighten the hook with the pliers. This will result in bulkier “feet”, but will also prevent your desk from being set ablaze.
