My love of old things and those that last with unconditional love brought June to life. The archaic looking fig trees with trunks full of lines all stemming into a single one and orchids that can be found clinging to trees in the tropics. Both of these are beauties found in nature – and show some of the deepest emotions we have as humans. We love our history, particularly that of ourselves and our family’s. We spend large amounts of hours tracing back our roots or discussing our lives with others and within that history you find a love so unconditional that we must cling to something when showing that love.

Includes a lined version of the pattern that highlights every other row for easier following.

This afghan block is the sixth block in a series of 12 for the Year of the Afghan. Every first Tuesday of the month I will release the newest square.

Click here to purchase the e-book for $15 and on the first Tuesday of each month you will receive the updated copy with that month’s pattern without having to remember to upload it.
