Junebug Bandana
This bandana uses 3 colors and a moss stitch to transition between colors without cutting at the end of each row. The colors are carried up the sides, with the next color for the row ready to use when you get to that row. This pattern can be adjusted to use 1 or 2 colors, but still requires 3 separate skeins to achieve the color changing technique.
The bandana is one size and should fit most adult heads. The gauge is measured using the moss stitch to get the most accurate estimate. Up to 50g of each color of a weight 2/3 yarn is needed for this pattern. The hook is a bigger size than required for the yarn to create a drapier fabric.
The pattern features specific written instructions, along with a guide in the footer of each page to decrease the need to scroll between pages. The checkboxes are functional digitally, allowing you to easily keep track of your rows. This pattern wouldn’t be what it is without my tester’s helpful feedback, so their instagram handles are clickable links that lead to each of their profiles.
