June's North Ronaldsay Socks
This is a natural colored sock, with intarsia sheep at the top of the sock. The sole is done in slip stitch, using a thicker yarn. It has a French heel, with the slip stitch carried down the sole of the foot. The pattern was designed for handspun but the sample sock uses a commercial yarn.It uses a thicker yarn for the sole, or you can use a thinner yarn doubled. It is designed for a woman’s size 6.
