The Junie Bonnet is an oversized hood that can be worn with the ties wrapped around the neck as a scarf, or tied together in a cute bow below the chin. The pattern begins at the top of the hood, which leads into the main hood that involves using German short rows to shape the back of the head. The front consists of 1x1 ribbing, and the neck section is a long, skinny 1x1 ribbed scarf that is attached to the main hood as it is being knit.
