The Juniper Berry Scarf is an advanced beginner crochet pattern. It features the Alpine and Bead stitches to give this beanie loads to texture throughout. This crochet scarf patterns includes two variations -- Infinity + Straight. The Juniper Berry Scarf is inspired by juniper trees, and walking through a forest on a cold morning. This scarf will keep you warm + toasty on your next outdoor adventure.

Materials
Yarn - Hue + Me, bulky/category 5 (137yds/4.4oz, 125m/125g), 80/20% Acrylic/Wool
You will need 2 colors total.
-MC = Juniper (173yds/159m)
-CC = Agave (118yds/108m)
Substitutes : Any other bulky/category 5 yarn will work.
Crochet Hook - L (8.00mm) or correct hook to meet gauge
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Tape Measure
Stitch Markers

Experience Level = Advanced Beginner (level 2)
You will need to know how to Chain, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Double Crochet, Treble Crochet, Puff Stitch, and crochet in the round.

Yarn Substitutes
Any other bulky (category 5) will work. Always check gauge if changing yarn weights.

Row 2 : SC in each ST across. CH 2. Turn. (9 STS)
Row 3 : DC in 1st ST. FPTR around the ST 2 rows below. DC in next ST. Repeat until end of row. CH 1. Turn. (9 STS)
Row 4 : SC in each ST across. CH 2. Turn. (9 STS)
Row 5 : DC in 1st ST. DC in next ST. FPTR around the ST 2 rows below. DC in next ST. Repeat until 1 ST remains. DC in last ST. CH 1. Turn. (9 STS)

The Juniper Berry Scarf will have a bulky fabric to pile up around your neck, but it is not an oversized scarf. This pattern includes to versions -- 1.) Infinity/Circle and 2.) Straight/Open. Both versions are easily adaptable to any length you’d prefer.
