Juno Bag
The Juno Bag is worked from the bottom up in a lace pattern. The cast-on edge runs along the middle of the bottom of the bag. The bottom is worked back and forth in the lace pattern, then stitches are picked up and knitted along the sides of the bottom for the sides of the bag. The sides of the bag are worked in the round in the lace pattern. At the top of the bag, stitches are bound off in the middle of the bag, while the stitches on each side are worked into the handle. The handle is worked in the round in the lace pattern. At the end, zipper, lining and a leather handle are installed.
The pattern also contains sewing instructions for the lining.
