The Jupiter sweater has a net-like appearance created by a repetitive mock cable stitch, working from the top to the bottom. The knitting sequence is as follows:

  1. Use increases to knit the back yoke.
  2. Pick up stitches from the left shoulder to create the left shoulder and neckline.
  3. Pick up stitches from the right shoulder to create the right shoulder and neckline.
  4. Join the right and left shoulder pieces to knit the front yoke.
  5. Join the front and back yokes to work the body downward.
  6. Pick up stitches from the neckline to create the neck ribbing.
  7. Knit both sleeves.
