Latvia has a long coastline on the Baltic sea, with incredibly fine white sand beaches, sandbars and sand dunes. Much of Latvia is pine tree forests on ancient sand dunes. The undulating waves and ripples of Latvia’s sandy beaches are on this hat. Jura means sea. It is where the sun goes at night. Jura also implies the cosmos in folk songs. On a rock at the center of the jura is where light fights dark, God meets the devil, the universe begins and ends, stars die and are reborn. Put the colors of the cosmos on your head and light up your world.

Sizes Toddler, Kid, Adult XS, S/M, L/XL are all included with charts.

There is a DEEP version as seen in the photographs, and there are also pattern notes to crochet a SHALLOW version.

Two yarns are used to make the stripes in the hat. The pattern has color way alternatives for a wealth of Harvest/Uneek color combinations, as well as subtler Harvest/Monochrome color combinations.
