The just cable sweater is worked from the top down in cable patterns.
First, the back yoke is worked back and forth and sloping shoulder are shaped using German short rows.
Then stitches are picked up and knitted for the shoulder section, which are worked separately and then joined to from front yoke.
The front and back yoke are joined at the underarms to from the body, which is worked in the round.
The sleeves are knitted in the round from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armholes and edge is worked rib stitches.
A neck edge is worked, folded double and knitted together.
Before starting the project, be sure to knit a pattern swatch and measure the gauge.
