Dory’s “just keep swimming” mantra from Finding Nemo is this generation’s version of The Little Engine That Could’s “I think I can, I think I can,” and is no less inspiring. On those days when you need a little extra motivation, turn on a favorite TV show, pick up your needles and create a great little project.

Just Keep Swimming is great for Fair Isle newbies, as there are only two colors, and no long floats to catch.

Skills needed:
basic knitting, knit into front and back, knit two together, and fair isle.

These little mittens were designed to match my Just Keep Swimming sweater, available in my Ravelry store.

The baby size does not have thumbs and takes at most 60 yards of yarn.
