I love knitting up some socks, and when people ask me what I’m making, I just reply with “Just Some Socks.” Which I think just makes the perfect name for this pattern.

I’ve knit many many socks, and have slowly been writing out my little notes for how I make them best so that they fit my feet perfectly each time. I included some of the tips and tricks and the “whys” in this pattern as well in hopes that it is able to clear a bit of the confusion around sock knitting up a bit for everyone!

This pattern is also free! Please use it to learn how to make your first pair of socks and start going sock crazy! They’re a very portable project that can accompany you anywhere you go! And great for summer knitting as fingering weight yarn is nice and light!

Sizes: Small: 7.5in, Medium, 8.5in, Large: 9.5in

What you need to get started: US 1 needles (Either Double Pointed Needles, Circulars with 32in cable, or 9in circulars) and your favorite fingering weight sock yarn!
