This is the second in a series of 4 designed to accommodate the the size of your purchases. This bag is meant for slightly longer trips for a few more small essentials.
This one starts at the oval bottom. A “toe style” cast on is used to allow you to knit from the center out. Decreases are worked at the 4 “corners. Once the desired size is reached, the pattern changes to a simple 8 round texture stitch. Handles are created by binding off stiches on one round then casting on stitches over the same area in the next round. Handle length can easily be modified by casting on more stitches for longer handles or fewer stitches for shorter handles. Blocking is optional.

Straps: 12 ½”/32 cm
Main body (unstretched) 7½”/19 cm x 25”/64 cm.
Bottom oval: 10½”/27 cm x 6½”/16 cm.

Gauge is 20 sts/26 r = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
Gauge is not critical for this project but any change in gauge will affect yarn requirements and overall size.
