The K-9 Pup Hats pattern is one base hat with six different puppy ear options, sized from 9 months to teen. It’s perfect for pup loving kids, birthday parties and dress up.

It also includes a tutorial for cutting a felt dog tag, so every pup gets its own finishing touch. Pick your own colors for the hat to make each one unique.

✨ What makes it work

• Six ear options. One base hat, six different pup looks.
• Felt dog tag tutorial. Step by step help for cutting the tag.
• Tested pattern. Put through testing for quality and accuracy.
• Your colors. Choose three colors for the hat, plus pink, brown, white and black for the ears.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Medium (4) worsted. Super Saver, Red Heart works great. Pink, Brown, White and Black for the ears, plus three colors of your choice for the hat (base color, color 1 and color 2).
• Hook: H (5.0mm)
• Tools: Yarn Needle · Removable Stitch Markers · Sharp scissors (I use Cutter Bee) · Craft knife · Hole punch · Pen or small tip marker
• To finish like the samples: Felt in Dark Grey, Light Grey, Navy Blue, Dark Green, Light Green, Orange, Pink and Red · One sheet of cardstock · Felt glue or craft glue (I recommend Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue) · 1” of Velcro per hat
