I looked and looked for a pattern to fit my dog, and found no luck. So I set out to write my very own. His dimensions are as follows.

Neck is 19”
Chest is 31”
Back is 20” {from the base of his neck to the base of his tail}

You can make this all in one color if you choose, just skip the color changes. The neck and very last few rows are made with one color, and the rest of the body is made with another.

I didn’t account for the stretching the yarn would do as the sweater was worn. I now recommend dropping a hook size or two to accommodate the stretching.
