Baby 3 - 6 months
Yarn: Rowan Fine Tweed, 100 % wool, skein size 25 g and 98 yards, 50 g blue #380 and 25 g off white #376
Gauge: 14 sts x 28 rows in Garter st = 2 x 2”
Circular needle US 2.5 (3 mm) and 3.5 mm crochet hook

The hat is worked back and forth in Garter st. It has some small crochet details, like on the Kaja jacket (read below). Three small borders, and a small tassel, pretty easy.
It is seamed in the back, and tied under the chin.

This pattern is made to match Kaja’s Jacket.
HOWEVER, Kaja’s jacket is originally made for an older child.
I have just worked Kaja’s Jacket in this Rowan yarn, and it is smaller, to fit a baby. The size of the jacket is easy to adjust. I needed a hat to go with it, so I designed this one, and I love it!
It could possibly be made larger to go with the larger original jacket. The pattern include suggestions about when and where to make it larger.
