Kajo-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The brim can be knitted straight or sloped, shaped with short rows. The pattern has instructions for both solid colour and striped versions.

Yarn

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample(size M) was knitted with Malabrigo Yarn Rios in colourway 35 Frank Ochre, (100% Merino, 192 m/ 210 yds per 100 g) and used 75 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
