The name Kala means Sun and light.
I made the cute little baby Sun in honour of all the Australian animals that suffered during the catastrophic bushfire in Australia. I know can’t help each animal, but we will try to support at least a small part of them.
All the money from the sale of Kala the koala pattern was donated to WWF Australia and Wild Life Victoria (in January and February 2020).

Kala the koala crochet amigurumi pattern is a 6-page document.
The koala is 15 cm / 5.9 in if you use same weight yarn and a crochet hook.

Materials:

1. Cotton yarn weight sport: grey, dark grey.
2. Fluffy yarn with long piles: grey.
3. Crochet hook 1.5 mm / 7 US steel OR 2 mm /2 US steel
4. Square 2 cm of black craft felt
5. Black (or dark grey) and white embroidery thread
6. Stuffing (polyester fiber)
7. 2 safety eyes (10 mm or 10,5) or 2 beads for eye
