When I first met my husband, I knew he liked baseball. Now that we’ve been married for a few years, I realize I was wrong. He doesn’t like baseball. He loves baseball. Few things make him happier than an afternoon at the ballpark. He divides his year into two seasons: October and Almost October.

I am not the only woman in the world married to this sort of sports lover, so I designed this fun, flirty sweater for all the sports widows I know. Worked in the round, this top-down raglan uses seed stitch instead of seams for stability and flair. It’s equally at home at the ballpark for those early season games- so cold in the upper decks!- or at your favorite bar. Cheering for a sports team is totally optional, but I have to say: there are worse ways to spend a Saturday then knitting with french fries and a beer.
