When knitting the shawls, the beauty of Uschitita’s color palette evoked me the fantastic colors of the Valles Calchaquies, in my second homeland, Argentina. The shawl was named Kalchaky as a tribute to the wild beauty of this valleys.

Kalchaky features an asymmetrical triangle shape, knitted sideways through a journey of plain or bicolor tuck stitches.
The Shawl is an invitation to play with colors and texture either through a fade progression or a contrasting combo.

To create your very own Kalchaky you will need:
Color A: 250 yds / 230 M
Color B: 275 yds / 250 M
Color C: 330 yds / 300 M
Color D: 220 yds / 200 M

Finished dimensions after blocking : 100” by 22” / 254 cm by 56 cm.
