This blanket or wall hanging is made using the overlay mosaic crochet technique. The nine squares are worked in the round from the center out, meaning the yarn is carried up each round (instead of being cut).

This blanket is made using scrap worsted weight yarn and a 4.5 mm hook. One square measures 7.75 by 7.75 inches. The finished blanket with border measures 25.25 by 25.25 inches, but the size may easily be increased with more squares.

The pattern is in US terminology.
The pattern contains these components:
• Yarn color information
• Terminology
• Center-out mosaic chart and chart key
• Written instructions for each round
• Link to video of rounds 0-6
• Photos of rounds 0-6
• Attaching the squares
• Border

Please note that since this is a scrap yarn project I do not know the source of all the yarns used, but I give details on how all the colors are used for each of the different colored squares. The four colors I could identify were I love this yarn metallic black, I love this yarn metallic royalty, Red Heart light seafoam, and Red Heart mist green. I highly recommend using this fun project to use up some of your personal scrap yarn collection though!
