Kalinda is a modern triangular shaped shawl worked in fingering yarn with some wave rows. This pattern is perfect for a beginner or more experienced crocheter who wants somethings elegant with a lot of character.

09/06/2019: In PDF pattern the layout has been changed and the stitch chart has been added. 

Materials & Tools:

  1. Yarn SCHEEPJES Whirlette 100g = 455m, 60% cotton, 40% acrylic, colors: A (853) Mango 1 skeins and B (852) Frosted 1 skein or SCHEEPJES Whirl 1 yarn cake - 215g = 1000m, 60% cotton, 40% acrylic, Green Tea Tipple.
  2. Hook size 3.5 mm. Adjust  hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge
  3. Tapestry Needle (to weave and hide yarn ends)
  4. Scissor

Gauge:
25 sts and 11 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm using double crochet stitch. Gauge is not crucial for this project, and it will depend on your yarn choices.

Size:
One size: Approx. 175cm wide and 75cm high

Notes:
This shawl is worked from the centre top down.
The pattern includes a stitch chart.
