EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Beginner - Intermediate Level – this patterns assumes you have the knowledge of all basic and some advanced crochet stitches, crocheting in the round, and are able to do simple embroidery.

NOTE: This is also a great pattern for using up scraps when small accents are needed.

Hook Sizes: F – SIZE 5 and E - SIZE 4

Embroidery Needle

Gauge: Although a gauge is not really necessary, here is a guideline for this project.
Half Double Crochet, 15 sts and 7 rows = 5” x 3”. Adjust Hook size for gauge.

Poly-fil Ultra Plush Fiber Fill (Walmart). I like this because it’s soft for stuffed toys. You can use the fiber fill of your choice

Velcro circles - 1” round

Stitches:
sl – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – triple crochet
BLO- back loop only
BL- back loop
FLO – front loop only
Both – both loops
dec - sc 2 sts together (this is a decrease
stitch)
sk – skip the next stitch
MR- magic ring
sp - space
MC = Main Color
AC = Accent Color
