Let this wonderful Mommy and Joey Kangaroo hop into your heart.
Joey can hop a ride with mommy or you can play with him out of her pouch.
Mommy is 11” tall
Joey is 4 1/2” tall
For this pattern you will need to know:
(sc) single crochet
(ch) chain
(sc2tog) 2 sc together
(2sc) 2 sc in one sc
(F/O) fasten off
repeat between **
slip stitch
Magic ring
Supplies will be:
G Hook
Polyester stuffing
Yarn Needle
12 mm Black Safety eyes (if making for a child under 3, I would crochet, use felt or embroidery eyes)
6 mm Black Safety eyes (if making for a child under 3, I would crochet, use felt or embroidery eyes)
Main color 270 yards of 4ply yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver)
Small amount of black
Stitch markers

Have a little one that loves kangaroo’s or do you? Here is a Lovey ,Security Blanket or Comforter for you. You receive a bonus with this pattern. A little Joey pattern that fits into the pocket on the blanket.
The Lovey/Security Blanket is 18” square
Supplies:
G Hook (for kangaroo and joey)
I hook (for blanket)
Polyester stuffing
Yarn Needle
Main color yarn 280 yards (I used Red Heart Warm Brown)
Main color yarn 25 yards for bonus Joey (I used Red Heart Café Latte)
Contrasting Color 1 yarn 70 yards (I used Red Heart Café Latte)
Contrasting Color 2 yarn 35 yards (I used Red Heart Buff)
Small amount of black yarn 2 yards (for nose and eyes)
