This is a super simple cowl pattern that I’ve made time and time again for friends and family. I have at least two in a cupboard by the front door right this minute, ready for someone to slip over their head before they walk the dogs.

The stitch pattern is half-way to full brioche and a great gateway to full brioche if you’re hesitant to take that step.

It can be knit with any bulky-weight yarn, but I keep coming back to Malabrigo Chunky because it’s smooth-as-butter against the skin, with lots of squoosh. I’ve made these cowls with as little as a skein and a half, and as much as two full skeins.

If you have any questions about the pattern, please contact me via Ravelry!

Thanks and enjoy!
