English

Vertical track mosaic stitch patterns are crossed over one another in this clever and graphic hat. One color is used at a time with cushy garter stitch worked in between the vertical Adventure Cables for a cozy head topper.

This mosaic stitch pattern has always been one of my favorites, and was the first mosaic pattern I tried adding cables into. I wanted the vibe of a traditional basic cabled hat that would showcase the technique of crossed mosaic stitches really clearly. The golden yellow and worn beige colors were inspired by early morning light, faded wooden porches, waving fields of grass and leaning weathered fence posts.
