Thin bands of color radiating out from the middle of this triangular shawl are reminiscent of warm rays of sunshine in the late afternoon. How appropriate then, that ‘Karee’ is the aboriginal word for ‘Sun’. Constructed to begin at the center, this shawl is worked in three colors outward towards the tips. The geometric patterning formed by Karee’s narrow stripes, intersects in new and interesting ways each time you wear it wrapped and pinned differently.

Karee is suitable for an advanced beginner - Intermediate knitter. Techniques used include: Picking up Stitches, Turkish cast on.
