Karen’s Ruffle Sweater is worked from the bottomup. The sleeves are worked seamless on DPNs (or on circular needles with the magic loop method) and then joined to finish knitting the yoke. The ruffle collar is worked at the end by picking up sts along the neckline.

Sizes: 12-18 months (2 years) 3 years

Measurements: Length 34 (36) 38 cm. Chest width: 27 (29) 31 cm. Sleeve length: 22 (23) 25 cm.

Gauge: 27 sts and 40 rows = 10x10 cm/4x4 in

Suggested needles: 2.5 mm (U.S. size 1.5) and 3 mm (U.S. size 3) circular needles (60 cm (24 in) cable length for the sweater and 80 cm (32 in) cable length for the collar); 2.5 and 3 mm double pointed needles (DPNs) for the sleeves (unless you are using the magic loop method)
